The Channel Islands are situated in the Gulf of St. Malo, some 14 miles from the coast of France and around 100 miles south of the English coast. Of the Channel Islands, which includes the main isles of Guernsey, Sark, Herm and Alderney, Jersey is the largest with approximate area coverage of 44 sq miles and a population of 100,000.

Perhaps better known as a holiday destination for those who want a taste of French weather but in more familiar English surroundings, and also an internationally recognised leading Financial Centre, Jersey holds an attraction for many, for lots of different reasons.
