American Seafoods rebuilt the Northern Eagle’s processing lines in 2012 and changed its freezing equipment to ammonia-based technology to reduce gas emissions.

The 104-meter trawler operates in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest fishing for Alaska pollock, Pacific hake and yellowfin sole.
