Jacqui Macalister has been heading the health and sustainability department of Swedish furniture giant Ikea's food services division since 2015. The group runs more than 380 restaurants in 48 markets worldwide.

Macalister worked in the sustainable supply department of fast food giant McDonald's Europe in London for a number of years before making the move to Ikea.

Here, she talks to IntraFish about consumer trends impacting buying decisions at Ikea, and shares some of her views on the global seafood industry.
