In 2016, Vinh Hoan was by far Vietnam’s largest pangasius exporter sailing high above its peers in the latest top ten listing.
In the year, Vinh Hoan’s export revenue reached $251 million (€236.2 million) up 10 percent from $228 million (€214.5 million) in 2015, as it claimed a 15 percent share of the market.
It was followed by Biendong Seafood with $134 million (€126.1 million) in exports and an 8 percent share of the market and Hung Vuong with $102 million (€96 million) and a 6 percent share.
Over the year, Vinh Hoan also gained more share in important markets such as China, Hong Kong, and Latin America, it said.
