Nova Scotia-based MV Osprey will add a new shrimp trawler NorthernOsprey III to its fleet by the third quarter of 2017.
The company has ordered the construction of the new vessel, designed and equipped by Danish company Carsoe, and fitted it out with on-board production equipment including horizontal automatic freezers, warehouse facilities, palletizing equipment as well as elevators.
The overall order exceeds DKK 40 million (€5.4 million /$5.9 million), making it one of Carsoe' biggest successes in the segment since acquiring Carnitech.
