SeaPak Shrimp & Seafood Co. is adding a new "lighter" selection of shrimp-based products with the launch of its Lighthouse Selections line, the company said Wednesday.
“While taste still reigns supreme for consumers, people of all ages and life stages today are focusing more than ever on where their products come from, what ingredients are in them, and how they are made,” said Daryl Miller, director of marketing for SeaPak Shrimp & Seafood Co.
“SeaPak's new Lighthouse Selections lineup allows us to address this growing consumer preference, while remaining true to the high standards for taste and quality that the brand has established over the past 67 years.”
The three items currently being launched -- Shrimp & Veggie Griller, Creamy Garlic Shrimp and Marinated Shrimp -- is made with farmed shrimp and contains fewer ingredients than traditional frozen products.
