Poland was the largest single market for Norwegian salmon in 2015, and while the vast majority was re-exported after processing, with its 38 million inhabitants, there are many that underestimate the Polish market.
John-Paul McGinley, commercial director for frozen products at Marine Harvest Consumer Products, said salmon is now commonplace at retail outlets across the country as fresh, frozen and processed in various ways.
