Group launches $66 million fundraise to finance ocean-going salmon farming vessel

The team, which includes a former top executive at Mowi, hopes to significantly contribute to the global salmon supply with a fleet of 17 vessels.

The vessel, a 229 meter long, 32 meter wide and 20 meter deep Panama tanker, will draw water from underneath the hull and the ship's forward motion would drive water exchange in the tanks, where the intake water and discharge is filtered and treated.
